Visit From Zion National Park

The drive from Zion’s Visitor Center in Springdale, Utah to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes is about 40 miles and will take you approximately 1hr and 15m. The drive takes time because exiting Zion through the famous Mt-Carmel tunne is slow with the 40mph speed limit imposed on the winding roads until you leave the park.

Take UT-9 out of Zion, turn right at Mt Carmel Junction onto highway 89 and take another right turn onto UT-43, which is also known as Sand Dunes rd. Follow Sand Dunes rd for 11 miles until you turn left into the visitor center parking lot.

Visit From Kanab Utah

We visited the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park from Kanab after wrapping up our tour of Peekaboo Slot Canyons [Highly Recommended].
The distance is about 21 mi and should take you roughly 30 mins. You’ll drive north out of town on highway 89, before taking a left on Hancock Rd which eventually joins with Sand Dune Rd closer to the State Park
